The location of Lord Hill Gardens is perfect as it’s situated just on the edge of the town but also close to all the things we love about Shrewsbury.  

We believe that we really need more high quality properties in the town centre to keep local professionals, like us, in the area. The aesthetic of the development itself also supplements the local architecture of Abbey Foregate, whilst being in good range of local amenities.

Having been to view every single development in the town centre, there is nothing that comes close to the specification and standard to which the Lord Hill Gardens properties will be built.

The kitchen and bathroom fittings of other SY Homes properties are unparalleled to anything we’ve viewed so far.

From our first contact with SY Homes (Sharon), in November 2024, to the handover of keys some 7 months later (solicitors have a lot to answer for) the whole process was a minimal stress process.

We were able to choose our apartment off-plan and were able to have minor changes made. Every time we subsequently visited (and those occasions were numerous) we were always made welcome by the on-site build team, with a cheery smile and ‘hallo’. Sharon was always very patient with us and when the time came for us to feel under pressure to move by our buyers, she moved heaven and earth to ensure or apartment was ready for us.

We moved in with almost no snagging issues to resolve, a testament to the final QC inspection undertaken by the on-site team.

An architect friend visited us a few weeks ago and was impressed at the choice of fittings and overall build quality; as we have been.
